Vince Ransom
Vince Ransom is the Vice President of Gas Operations for Columbia Gas of Ohio. In this role, Ransom is responsible for emergency response, operations, and maintenance of the distribution systems that provide safe, reliable, and efficient natural gas service to approximately 1.5 million customers in Ohio.
Prior to his work with Columbia Gas, Ransom served as the Director of Transmission/Substation Work Management & Business Support for ComEd, an Exelon company, with responsibilities including administration of a budget of almost $400 million as well as setting strategic direction for multi-year work plans and budget levels.
Ransom has more than three decades of experience in the energy industry and has held numerous leadership roles with ComEd and PECO Energy, including oversight of reporting centers, gas and electric distribution centers, operations control, and customer care centers. He prioritizes employee safety and places a strong focus on employee engagement and development.
Ransom earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management/Human Resources from Rosemont College Bryn Mawr, Pa. and certificates from the Cornell School of Industrial and Labor Relations and Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan’s School of Business.
Ransom is a native of Chicago and currently resides in Columbus.
